Malcolm Wrightson Nance is a former career US Naval Intelligence officer specializing in cryptology, counter-terrorism, intelligence and information warfare as well as advisor for the U.S. government’s Special Operations, Homeland Security and Intelligence agencies. As an Arabic-speaking special intelligence collections operator and field interrogator he provided clandestine anti & counter-terrorism support to national intelligence agencies while on numerous reconnaissance and combat operations in the Balkans, Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa.
Now a member of the Board of Advisors at the International Spy Museum in Washington DC, Mr. Nance was honored as one of the Noteworthy African-Americans in American Espionage History.
During 2016 Election Malcolm was the first US media commentator to warn the public on national TV that the Russian hacking of the Democratic National Committee as a strategic information warfare operation executed by the Kremlin and Wikileaks to elect Donald Trump President. He quickly wrote the first book published on Trump-Russia Scandal, the groundbreaking The Plot to Hack America: How Putin’s Cyberspies Tried to Steal the 2016 Election which was published almost two months before the election. Malcolm sealed his media reputation as an intelligence prognosticator when the CIA issued a nearly identical report on the same day. Its sequel is the 2018 New York Times Best Seller, The Plot to Destroy Democracy: How Putin’s Spies are Winning Control of America and Dismantling the West.
Malcolm is author of several other books including The Terrorist Recognition Handbook; TheTerrorists of Iraq; An End to al-Qaeda; the New York Times Bestseller Defeating ISIS and Hacking ISIS: Inside the War Against the Cyber Jihad. As the MSNBC/NBC news terrorism and intelligence contributor Mr. Nance is seen by tens of millions of TV news viewers weekly. He has also been guest analyst on CNN, ABC News, FOX, BBC, Al-Jazeera, al-Arabiya, PBS’s Newshour, the BBC’s Hardtalk and World Have Your Say, Australian Broadcasting’s Dateline, German TV’s ZDF Frontier 21 and numerous other TV and radio political talk shows and podcasts around the globe.
